With American homebirth statistics showing safe outcomes, positive short and long term benefits, few emergencies, and low rates of intervention, it is no wonder that homebirth has been on a rapid rise in the last few decades and marked a sharp spike in 2020. It was just three generations ago, birthing at home was the norm in the United States. It was the norm in Ohio.
